From Thursday October 5, The Scottish Children’s Lottery will be offering two draws every week. This means you will soon have two chances every week to our £25,000 Jackpot or one of our great consolation prizes on offer!

The Thursday draw works in exactly the same way as the Monday Draw and the result will also be shown in the ad break on STV around 8.40pm.

Existing Subscription Customers

If you upgrade your subscription between 11:30am on Wednesday September 6 and before midnight on September 27, we will send you a code for £6 FREE.

To upgrade, simply log in to scottishchildrenslottery.com – you should see a pop up window. Follow the prompts and click ‘yes’ to confirm and you are on!

Your current Direct Debit or Visa Subscription would increase from your October payment – but you would then have the chance of winning email every Monday And Thursday!

If you wish to keep playing every Monday only – no problem! You don’t need to take any action. Your existing Direct Debit or Visa Subscription will continue as normal.

You will be able to buy tickets for our Thursday draws from Friday September 29. 

However if you take out a subscription now for the Monday draw now - you will be offered the chance to upgrade your subscription by re-logging in before midnight on September 27

When does the new Thursday draw start?

The second draw every week starts on Thursday October 5th 2017 and then every Thursday every week

How much can I win on the Thursday draw?

The Thursday draw operates in exactly the same way as the Monday draw with the same prizes and its own guaranteed raffle. This means you can win up to £25,000 twice a week.

How do I upgrade my Direct Debit or Visa Subscription for the Thursday draw?

If you are an existing Monday draw Direct Debit or Visa Subscription customer then you will see a pop up on screen when you log in from Aug 25 – Sep 27. You can then simply say ‘yes’ when prompted and we will automatically put you in the Thursday draw* This will increase your normal Direct Debit or Visa Subscription amount – for instance if you normally pay £4 or £5 a month, this will increase to £8 or £9 a month – but you will now have two opportunities to win big every week.  You will also qualify for a £6 bonus for signing up. Your confirmation email sent within 72 hours of signing up will give you the code. Your numbers will be the same as you have chosen for the Monday draw. * If you signed up before 11.30am on September 6 you will be in all draws from launch. If you signed up after this you will be in all Thursday draws from November - check your confirmation email for more details. 

I can’t see the pop up to upgrade to the Thursday draw

How do I upgrade to the Thursday draw after September 27 ?

If you are an existing Monday subscriber but have missed the upgrade window – you can upgrade to the Thursday draw on our site from Friday September 29. To do this, you would take out a Thursday only subscription from the play now page. You can either choose the same numbers or different numbers – it is up to you. Your Monday subscription would continue as normal and you would enter the Thursday games as detailed in the sign up process. If you have any questions, call Customer Services on 0330 123 3951

What if I don’t want to upgrade my subscription and play Monday only?

No problem! We’d love you to still play the Monday only game – you don’t need to take action and your Direct Debit would remain the same.

When can I pay the Thursday draw without signing up to Direct Debit?

You can do this on the site from Friday September 29. Simply click on ‘Thursday’ or ‘Both’ to include Thursday draws

What happens if I win a free play on a draw by matching two numbers?

From Monday October 2, if you win a free play on any Monday draw by matching 2 numbers, you free play will be added in to the next Thursday draw

From Thursday October 5, if you win a free play on any Thursday draw by matching 2 numbers, you free play will be added in to the next Monday draw

What if I only want to play one of my lines on Thursday?

To do this, take no action now. From Friday, September 29 you will be able to take out a Thursday only subscription on the site for the line(s) you wish to play 

What if I want to choose different numbers for Thursday?

To do this, take no action now. From Friday, September 29 you will be able to take out a Thursday only subscription and choose the numbers you want to enter

I don't want to play by subscription, when can I enter a Thursday draw?

Our site will be updated on Friday September 29 to allow you to buy tickets for the Thursday draws

I have upgraded my Subscription, but I don't see it under my account

You will see these details on or around October 3 after our site updates. If you want to make any changes to your Thursday subscription in the meantime, please contact Customer Service on 0330 123 3951

The pop up keeps appearing but I have already answered

If you are using the same browser and are not in incognito mode then the pop up should only appear once. If you use different devices, browsers or incognito mode when logging in to the Scottish Children's Lottery website then you may see the pop up again. Don't worry if you say yes more than once - we will only upgrade your subscription once. If you need to talk to us about anything else call Customer Service on 0330 123 3951

Subscription Upgrade Offer Terms & Conditions:

1) The promotion is open to residents of Great Britain aged 16 or over that have a Player Account and who are not an 'excluded person' as defined in the Scottish Children's Lottery Terms & Conditions. 2) The promotion will start at 12:01 on 25 August, 2017 and end at midnight UK time on 27 September, 2017 ("the Promotion Period"). 3) All players who, during the Promotion Period, upgrade their existing Direct Debit or Visa Subscription to include Thursday Draws will receive a voucher code via email for a £6 bonus 4) The bonus code should be entered into the voucher box when purchasing draw tickets 5) The £6 bonus can be used to purchase lines for the main lottery draw or to play  Instant Win Lotteries. 6) The player must use the bonus by 31 December, 2017.
