The Scottish Children’s Lottery Trust is proud to support the incredible work of Cosgrove Care, a Glasgow-based charity supporting children and young people with learning disabilities, autism, and additional needs across west central Scotland.
Thanks to a £3,975 grant award, Cosgrove Care delivered a fantastic Easter Holiday Club, a programme packed with fun, skills-building, and community connection for children and young people aged 5-21.
From creative arts to new experiences and day trips, the programme was designed to build confidence, friendships, and resilience, all while giving young people with complex needs a chance to simply enjoy being themselves.
Cosgrove Cares' team, alongside trained facilitators and volunteers, created a safe and empowering space where participants could try new things, make memories, and form lasting social bonds. For many of the families involved, the club offered a crucial break and a sense of hope during challenging times.
Huge thanks to Cosgrove Care for the amazing work they do, and to the players of the Scottish Children's Lottery, for making this grant possible.
